We went over setting and its importance in "Sentry." We also reviewed the questions for the story and discussed the story's theme.
HW: Keep working on your short story, making sure to three good examples of your theme. Read "The Decision" (pp. 67-78) and answer on page 79 questions 1-4. 6, 7. Also, describe the conflict (person vs. _______).

We read from Genesis (chapters 12-18) and the related pages in the textbook (39-42).
HW: Start a family tree for Abraham (Abram). Do it by hand or on the computer. Your paper should be landscape, not portrait style. So far, you should have Abraham (Abram) m Sarah (Sarai) and their child Isaac as well as a link between Abraham and Hagar and a line indicating their child Ishmael.
