Jan. 30 - Social Studies

We worked on the questions from previous class, focusing on gender roles in the Middle Ages and the role of the Church.

The only Socials homework is to prepare for the Middle Ages Market Place on Friday.  Don't forget your costumes!

Jan. 27 - English

We went over some discussion questions for chapters 27-31.  We started our other work, to be completed for homework:

• finish the book
• complete the outline for ONE DEVELOPING PARAGRAPH (not the entire outline) for your speech

Jan. 26

Today, you worked on your Middle Ages project.  Tomorrow, you will have time in D block to work on your visuals or your presentation.  We will do English work in B block.

Timeline:

• visuals due Jan. 30
• Market Place (with costumes, visuals, presentations) on Friday, Feb. 3 at 8:30
• in-class essay (using notes and bibliography ONLY) on Monday, Feb. 6 (B block)
• group assessment on Wednesday, Feb. 8 (D block)
